It's all in a Canoe Paddle
Hit the waters and paddled our way across Airport Lake and onto what we called the Amazon River..

A beautiful day to be out on the waters
No Alligators but did see 2 beavers about the size of a alligator!

Holy Beaver
Holy Beaver Splash... look at that wake!

Boating.... And yes We SURVIVED!!
Didn't think we would but somehow we did

Airport Lake was rough, capsizing waves, and the 4 of us were stupid enough to be out in the small Lund Boat on a Sunday Afternoon with no sun... CRAZY us..

We started off by bailing out the boat from all the rain, headed across the waters to the Cabin we were going to... Ended up bailing the boat out again at that cabin so we could try to make it to the next cabin on our way home... Bailed the boat again... It was just never ending.. Laughing all the way, water up to our necks, we made it back onto the crapy wavy water.... Never ending it seems

Oh yes.. and Pebbles came with us too...

Willie was a bit nervous... don't bite your finger off willie.. it will all be over soon!!

And we even made it up on shore with the boat.... just ask how!!!

funny after the fact.. not so fun at the time!

Back on the water... I drove..
And home we returned... in one piece

Our Goodbye Party...

5 of us leaving... Val, Laurie, Natallie, Willie and I

The party was alittle early for us, but it was a great night out to share with everyone we will miss

Another Monica...!!

The gangs all here!!!

me and my buddy... Martina... always fun with her!!

Only lived in Inuvik 11 Months, and thought it was time to go on the Igloo Church tour.

Krista was still in town, so we met up with Jen and Court and did the tour. Father Matthew laughed when I said I lived here since September. Its not like I haven't been in the church, just haven't done the tour.

The inside.. very beautiful.. unique layout

And then you go up stairs.. who would have known.. Up this small stair case, to the upper 1/2. What do they use the top of the church for, well the light that shines up through the windows in the 24hr darkness, and the beautiful chimes you hear before each service.

Guess what it was..... CHRISTMAS IN JULY
