Tuktoyaktuk
Located on the Beaufort Sea, is surrounded by the greatest concentration of natural Pingos. What are Pingos?? They are cone-shaped hills that form by a build up of ice under the tundra. Tuk is known as a transport harbour as it is situated on the artic ocean.

This is Tuk from the Plane. Only about 1010 people living in the area. Tuk is unique as there is no transporation via land except in the winter. So the only way to get there is via Airplane. Starting at Freeze-up, the winter road is put in. This is the ice road, made of pure ice, yes like a skating rink.
