3 months in, now got out

That is right, we got out of Inuvik via Natallie's truck.

Pick up time: 1300 on December 7th,

Destination: no where specific.

How: The ICE ROAD (aka the Mackenzie River)

We came onto the iceroad right by the docks of the boat lauch. There are 3 entrances to the iceroad. It was so neat being on it. You are driving on the river. There are signs just like a road you would take on a highway, turn this way sign, speed limit, stop signs.

We had so much fun, got the car scraper out of the truck and cleaned off the ice. It is so thick, i guess it gets up to about 10-15 feet thick. That is about 2.5 Laura's.. The road is only open up to light traffic, so no transport trucks allowed yet. Oh the fun of the open ice road.
