Snowshoeing with Martine:

We had a truck and 2 pairs of snowshoes for the day thanks to Diane and Sheila.. And we were off on a days worth of snowshoeing and gabbing!

First stop was just off the Dempster Hwy at Campbell Creek. A quaint little picnic area along the road.


We had our old fashioned snowshoes laced up and ready to head out on the open trails. We followed a snowmobile track down and around leading us to a large lake. We crossed the lake and kept on shoeing..

There were many little lakes all over. Since it has been warmer out lately, some appear to be thawing on top. Don't worry we stayed away from them and took the land. Oh it was a beautiful day to be out, and I did have great company indeed!
