I finally flew to HOLMAN!!Yes I flew!!!

So much ice on the Arctic Ocean still, and its the end of June
We took the 100 plane to swoop down and pick up a little one in distress in this community. I accompanied Rick, a great Medic in the North!

The Health Centre in Holman. Much larger than I expected. It has many rooms for clinics of all sorts. Run by 2 nurses, and a Doctor who comes about once every 8 weeks or so. Has basically everything you would need for patient care in an isolated area!

What a beautiful Community,
One that has always drawn me towards it.. It's the people for sure. Awesome community living..
