SHOPPING IN INUVIK

This is as good as it gets. Winter Craft Sale. People from all the communities Holman, Tuk, Norman Wells, Tsiigehtchic, Aklavik, Paulatuk, Colville Lake etc come in with their home-made crafts, baking etc. Beautiful fur mitts, Parka's, mukluks, slippers, carvings, paintings, and pictures etc. Beading is a huge art around the community. Beautiful slippers with beaded flowers or designs were everywhere. And the fur mitts, rabbit, muscrat, beaver, fox etc.. It's no Mall but it was just as good.
