Day 2.. in the CITY... city of wonder!!

Rain Rain go away.. But we fit in, Three umbrellas in hand, camera's in our pockets and shoes on our feet we are off.

Gastown was our first part of the trip.. A little area known for its cute cobble stone streets and historic buildings. The steam clock is a tourist attraction in the centre of it all. The name came from "Gassy Jack" a man who came over walked on shore and said "I will serve you drinks if you build a saloon".. And Gastown was formed! Lots of little pubs/saloons all throughout Gastown.

Down by the waterway, you could see some of the mountains from across the bay. Lots of clouds filled the air. Beautiful look out point. Rain let up for a bit for us on and off all day. But we kept walking...

3 Girls in the City.. who knows what will happen NEXT!
what is that saying, what happens in the city, stays in the city!

And the rest of the day... we shopped, went to stores we actually haven't been in for 7 months, ate well, laughed and had a blast. In each store they have umbrella holders when you first walk in to put your umbrella in while you shop. Yeah it must rain alot to have that.. kinda fun!!

Vancouver is a pretty cool place.. Temperature was wonderful.. 10 degrees.. WOW... i forgot what it is like to leave the house in a spring coat and no mitts and hat.
