LOVE THE ICE ROAD... I cannot wait until we get out to some of the communities. Ah we will, next adventure will be either Aklavik (population about 750) or Tuktoyaktuk (population about 1000).

We went up to about the 55km mark. As we got up that far you could notice a change in the number of trees you saw. The hills started to have not as many trees on them. We were getting almost to the point where the tree line stops. Heck yeah, we are FAR North. I have not been above the tree line yet, but I can only imagine how different it looks without. Willie has seen it as she was in Tuk already. So Jan it will be my chance, that is when we plan to go with Nat to Tuktoyaktuk.
