So long Ship

We disembark the ship on Saturday June 9th in Whitter, Alaska to take our next adventure. We decided right from the start, we are going to Alaska so why not do it all. Here we boarded the Denali Express, the glass-domed rail car and headed up 9.5hrs to Denali National Park. From just minutes of being on the rail car we saw a Grey Wolf, Bald Eagles, a moose and a swan. This was not all along the trip, we ended up seeing many more Moose, Dall Sheep along the rocks, and plenty of birds of all species. It was amazing. The scenery is one that all the pictures I took just do not do it justice in its beauty.

As we ventured, mountains were endless. It was a beautiful day to travel, as the sun was shinning. Mt McKinley was clear as a bell, which only happens on rare occasions. I guess you can say we were lucky to see a clear picture of the largest mountain in North America!

Mt McKinley always looked so mystical, a whitish light blue in colour always appearing to fade into the sky. As seen on your right!
